Super observation

We watched the Super Bowl last night. Well, pretty much. The three of us piled on the couch, and my husband and I did our best to keep the little dude entertained so he would stay in the same room and we could watch the game (and the ads) (and Madonna).

We pointed at the teams just before the game started. Because the Steelers weren’t playing, we didn’t have a strong rooting interest. We asked my son which team he wanted to win. He said the “green guys.”

Um, no green guys. Blue guys? Red guys? He still insisted on green.

Then the broadcast cut to soldiers in Afghanistan watching the game. “There are the green guys,” my son yelled happily.

Outsmarted once again by a 2-year-old.
